JOHNSTOWN - A Johnstown couple tied the knot Wednesday morning, but it was a wedding with a twist. Greg and Amy Brown got married inside Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center’s Good Samaritan Chapel. A promise to stay together forever, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health. 'It's just disgusting' Altoona city officials speak out on landlords situation

Brookville-area man charged with child rape, accused of multiple sexual assaults

A 33-year-old Jefferson County man has been charged with child rape, accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. According to a probable-cause affidavit, Damon Hamman began assaulting the girl at his Curve Drive, Knox Township, residence just after Thanksgiving. The assaults continued at least two more times, with the most recent occurring in mid-December, according to the affidavit. Local wrestler Bo Bassett wins regional collegiate tournament

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Last weekend, a local high school wrestler beat multiple Division One college wrestlers to win a regional tournament. High school sophomore Bo Bassett won the 133-pound Clarion Open title on Sunday. Bassett beat Pitt redshirt freshman Vinnie Santanello in the final. Santanello is ranked in the top 15 in his weight class. Bassett said he was nervous to wrestle against that level of competition, but that the pressure made him perform better. [Read More]
