State College doctor sentenced

STATE COLLEGE – A State College doctor who recently had his license suspended for 30 months was sentenced Thursday. Kenneth Cherry Jr., who was accused of improperly prescribing controlled substances to a woman with whom he was having an affair, was sentenced to 18 months of probation and a day of community service on three misdemeanor charges of failing to keep proper records.
