Convertible fans have just a few more months to buy one of the last American-brand drop-tops. Buick last week confirmed a long-running rumor that it will discontinue its Cascada convertible after the 2019 model year.
The 2019 Buick Cascada is the only front-wheel-drive convertible from a Detroit automaker and one of just a handful of four-seat drop-tops left on the market. Automotive News first reported Buick's plan to drop the Cascada but did not say when the convertible will end production.

CAMERON COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Cameron County remains one of only five counties under the low cases category with a just 2.1 percent positivity rate for COVID-19.
Even so, Cameron County School District Superintendent Dr. Keith Wolfe says the district is not becoming complacent with preventing the spread of the virus.
Since the virus situation started, the school district has only had a small amount of "close contact" quarantines and no positive virus cases.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — The Center for Metal Arts received a $250,000 grant from the 1889 Foundation, which will be administered by the non-profit organization Pittsburgh Gateways.
Pittsburgh Gateways, along with the Johnstown Redevelopment Authority, has now given more than $6 million in grants to the forging school in Johnstown.

PHILADELPHIA (WCAU) — The search is on for a Pennsylvania escapee.
Authorities say the inmate was on a work detail in an orchard behind the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Facility when he climbed a fence and disappeared.
He has been identified as 34-year-old Gino Hagenkotter.
Investigators say just after noon, all Philadelphia prison facilities were secured and placed in lockdown.
Hagenkotter was jailed in 2019 for violating parole on several drug, retail theft and burglary charges.
